Arriving

Sunday morning services begin at 10:00 AM from then end of March through December.

‘On street’ parking is easiest and close to the church.  We suggest arriving a few minutes early, just so you are not rushed.  There is additional parking in the public lot across the street and behind the stores.  There are two walk ways that lead to Main St. near the church.

In general, we dress in our better casual clothes.  Our children dress in clothes that can get messy during religious education activities such as painting or cooking.

During the winter, we use the pink chapel in the back of the building, due to heating costs.  Please follow the signs.

If you would like to learn more about us, please fill out the form on the back of your Order of Service, talk to the minister or ask any parishioner to have the minister call you.  The Order of Service form can be dropped  in the collection plate, or left it in the basket on the refreshments table during coffee hour which always follows the worship service.

Children

Children are always welcome at our worship services.  And, you are always welcome to join our Religious Education classes.  If the children would like try our religious education classes, please ask the greeters or the person sitting next to you.  This is a small congregation and everyone does know everyone.  Your neighbor will be happy to help.

Worship

Our worship services typically include hymns, a children’s story which we call “A Time For All Ages,” a short meditation and prayer time, choir music, readings (maybe a responsive reading), sermon and benediction.
Periodically, we have lay speakers at worship services.  For example,  Doug Muder, a columnist for the UU World (our denominational magazine) will speak this year.

“Coffee Hour”
We invite you to join us for coffee or tea and refreshments after the worship service.  At coffee hour, adults chat and get to know one another better, while the kids play among us.  We look forward to talking with you and answering any questions that you may have.

WELCOME!

Our Affirmation

Love is the Spirit of this church,
And service it’s law.
This is our great covenant;
To dwell together in peace,
To seek the truth in love,
And, to help one another.
