Have you heard of the Just War theory which concerns the criteria for declaring a Just War? A similar idea of applying criteria to declare a Just Peace, is called “Just Peace” theory. When can we declare Peace?
May 29th “Just Peace – Just Practice” by Rev. Marilyn Richards
What practices help us contribute to a Just Peace? Just peace is a personal spiritual practice as well as socially responsible actions and taking part in our democracy.

June 12th Annual Meeting at 10:00 AM
June 19th Christopher Coyle preaching at the Athol Historical Society (AHS)

— A standard sized Women’s Bike with basket and helmet
— Baby “Car quilt” — road design, small cars included
— Baby quilt — Pink with ballet theme and a ballerina outfit included
— Baby quilt — Jungle theme
What we need for Spring Fair:
* jewelry –all kinds of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, Attic treasure are also helpful.
* small plants and flowers for our Plant Table.
The last Board of Management Meeting before the Annual Meeting will be May 29, 2016 after Coffee Hour.
Our church’s Annual Meeting will be June 12th at 10:00 AM.
Strawberry Social will be held on June 19th, after Chris Coyle’s worship service at the Athol Historical Society.
A summer potluck is in the works. Talk to Kathy or Donna.

Bette Martin is joining our church by signing the book, this coming Sunday, May 22nd. We will celebrate on June 19th at the Athol Historical Society with three cheers and a Strawberry Social.
